Morning rush hour on the London tube. Laurie Bateman is on her way to work when she witnesses a terrible accident. Only later does it dawn on her that what she has seen is potentially much more sinister.

In the space of a few days her flat is burgled and her flatmate assaulted - she loses her phone and then her job. Are these events linked? Compelled to investigate, Laurie breaks into the Underground one night after the last tube has departed to look for clues. She quickly finds herself in serious danger and is forced to flee for her life along the rails through pitch black tunnels in the dead of night. The hunter has become the hunted.
